Lest we forget the best Khan debacle.

This pretty much means that they probably were in Episode VII.

Obi Wan's granddaughter. Not a doubt in my mind. British accent and all.

Good. I want to see a Kylo-Rey love angle.

No one raised Rey. The guy offering her one quarter portion was the closest she got.

Well frick I must be terribly easy to mislead because I thought it was implied in the movie that Luke was Rey's father.

Maybe that's what doesn't make this a lie. Both likely were not in the movie, but perhaps one parent was.

Man, I don't care. The new crop of characters bored the Hell out of me.

The British accent means she comes from the core worlds. Half the characters in Star Wars have British accents.

Or it means Daisy Ridley couldn't develop an American accents for the film.

Abrams clarified his earlier comments, saying,

"What I meant was that she doesn’t discover them in Episode VII. Not that they may not already be in her world.”

So his comment basically means nothing at all.
