I play Charlie's solo at the end of "Nightman Cometh" at least once a month on YouTube. Personally I think it's Charlie's greatest moment in the entire series and that's saying a lot.

Man I wanted to say 5 just because of the Dennis System but it's hard to beat the collective of 4

Absolutely and I've said this on here a couple of times and also adamant that the show jumped the shark after this season. Gas Crisis, Mac and Charlie die, Dennis Reynold's Erotic Life... All would've been top tier/goat episodes on any other show, but s4 was just plain insane. Fred Savage and Matt Shakman directing was what made it for me, just incredible work. The Night Man Cometh I remember watching vividly even tho I had been drinking somewhat heavily and smoking a bowl of some blue dream I had been saving.
I remember deciding to stay in and Night Man Cometh and skipping out on going to a friend's house for a crawfish boil and thinking to myself,"this is amazing writing and I'm really glad I stayed home and watched this", this was before the days of instant downloads and where if you missed it you missed it till the DVD or you download the torret and watch on your TV via HDMI input from laptop.
I was so damn happy after that episode that I had to call my buddy and say,"well, you missed the greatest fricking thing ever..",
Him-"lol, it can't be that funny..."
Me-"funniest episode ever"
Him-"on a scale of 1 to Awesom-O"(Awesom-O episode being the benchmark of funny
Me-"it's better than Awesom-O"
Him-"God. Damnit.... I fricking told Sara we should've stayed home...Or at least went and saw Keller"
Me-"I hope they have s rerun at midnight but I don't think so and I don't know if it comes on tomorrow night... Man, that sucks"
I made cat eye jokes, tole troll and boys soul/hole jokes for a year. Even throwing fake punches and yelling "body bag!". Nothing will probably beat that episode for me, these days I don't even catch up with the new episodes export via streaming on the fx app whenever I have time. I honestly enjoy Fargo much more now. It's really sad I know the show will never have the zip it used to. :/

I watched since season 1. I did not watch after season 5. The statement is true.
The show seemingly lost its "underground magic" after it became really really popular around 2010.The early seasons had such a weirdness to them they were incredible.

Season 5 is their GOAT. Though the Nightman Cometh is their GOAT episode, just edging out DENNIS System.
Kitten Mittens is an underrated episode. I never see anyone talk about it but it's a personal top 5 maybe 7 for me.

Yeah, I forgot about that one, when the dude realized he was stripping for his daughter at the end, that might be the hardest I've laughed at any Always Sunny moment.
