Is Smurf on Animal Kingdom that creepy for the entire first season?

I'm in the first episode, and it's currently a 8/10 on the gross scale. I mean she's cool with seeing her kids junk and way way way too touchy feely.

For the majority of the show, also throughout they reveal how controlling and manipulating she is. I think it's a great show, one of my favorites on network television.

It's part of the overall dynamic between her and her "boys" and any inferences you have drawn are likely correct ...damn good show.
