You should read "Afterlife with Archie". The zombie apocalypse has finally hit Riverdale

I think they made a huge mistake in which story they decided to tell first. Custer's family is by far the most interesting villains of the tale, and it makes for a good origin story. Everything about the first episode felt tonally off for me, and I didn't much enjoy it. Mrs. Baloo despised it.

I love the show. Of course after watching Warcraft and seeing half the Preacher cast in it, I keep expecting the damn Orcs to show up any minute in Preachers.

I reread the comic and have no idea where it is going. I quit watching.

This.

And to be honest, I have not been fair to it since knowing that Rogan and Goldberg had their hands in it. Just didn't seem to make sense knowing just how jewish everything they make is - and that is not anti those guys as filmmakers (I love a lot of their stuff), just the truth . . Didn't feel they would give it any due.

Yeah, I can't wait to see The Boys on screen. That should be awesome, and much easier to translate to TV.

I am enjoying the hell out of Preacher. No comics experience here, yet.

I read the comic and it makes sense to me ..

This season is a prequel. . All leading up to the road trip that is the comics...

So far every character they've shown is off but you can tell it's leading up to their comic motivations.

It just got renewed for a second season, I bet once that one starts the budget will be better and the slow pace will start catching speed..

I think the actors are perfectly cast and it will be a good payoff for those that stick with it

I love it. Also, Season 2 is good to go according to AMC.

Not sure how this season is a prequel. Everything about the Quincannon storyline is wrong. Should never have introduced that character at this time

Is nobody watching Preacher anymore?

Yes and I am still waiting for something to actually happen after the first two episodes. Character setup is great and all, but when nothing actually moves the plot forward, I start losing interest.

This past episode was encouraging.

Well, they aren't starting with the premise that Annville is wiped out.

Which happened only a few pages into the comic. . .

So there will be some very key differences.

Only character I disagree with is the portrayal of Tulip.

She is far too bad arse for this early.

We're finally starting to get some meat to go with the potatoes. The angel kill scene was pretty great.

Without spoiling anything, poor Arseface.

Angel kill scene to start the latest episode was money.

Show seems to be coming together and making more sense to me, and I have no comic experience with this show, just the general description from Wikipedia.

I'm guessing he'll be back and have zero fricks to give after returning from where he went.

Reminiscent of the hallway fight in DD Season 1.

No shite. Seems like things were on the upswing for a little while for him. I was waiting to see Jesse get a real idea of the negative effects of his power.

I rewatched that scene three times before I even moved to the rest of the episode. I'm currently recruiting three friends to watch the show based off of that 10 minutes.

I was very happy to see them get a longer season 2. This show is gonna be something special.

I fell asleep towards the end of the last episode but that was in me. The show is interesting. I like the Old West flashbacks but I'll tolerate Tulip and Cassidy to see where the story goes.

This is certainly better than the Plantation ninja show that followed the Walking Dead last year.

He was given reason to hate Jesse in the comic, but this is much heavier.
