Not really. It's more tense than anything. Definitely worth a watch, IMO.

A blind man in his own home can get around quite well. Why wouldn't he be able to? They even say he doesn't leave for a week at a time

Yeah we ended up watching it and liked it. I was kind of rooting against the thieves the whole time.
