In agreement once again Oli. I absolutely loved this series. I have it 2nd behind Jessica Jones in the Marvel series. Until The Defenders comes out, Iron Fist is the only one that has this sexiness:

a. I enjoyed Iron Fist fine but it was far from terrific.
b. Finn jones was fine in the role but the action all seemed pretty poorly done especially when compared to something like Daredevil.
c. I haven't seen Luke Cage, DD season 2 or Jessica Jones so the pace didn't bother me much. A friend of mine hated iron Fist after having seen the others and her main gripe was that it was so slow.

What was terrific to me was they took their time and didn't rush anything. I haven't seen JJ or LC yet. I thought the casting was good. Jessica henwick is perfect as colleen wing.

Jessica Jones, to me was fantastic mostly due to the villian. I'm a big Krysten Ritter fan. IMO, Luke Cage is too slow and dry.

I have insomnia, so I'm sure I'll get to those two shows. I'm waiting on defenders which comes out in August.

My wife and I enjoyed Iron Fist and now we're Defenders Marvel fans. The first 3-5 episodes of Iron Fist was interesting and then the show gets crazier as it progresses. Jaw dropping crazy at times, if ya ask me. That one Dad and Son relationship was must see TV and can we all get enough of Madame Gao? Nope, bring on her own series.
After watching Iron Fist, we've watched Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage in the correct order. We can't wait for "The Defenders" to be released, and if I'd have to pick a favorite season from all the above, Daredevil season one was so good. It's easy to see why these defenders shows popularity took off after such a solid season one of Daredevil.

I liked Iron Fist. It wasn't without its faults. In particular, I thought the set design was terrible. See the China episode for evidence. I also thought Danny's super mercurial temper was annoying, especially for a monk.
But those are just my gripes. Overall, I was entertained by it.

Danny comes off as a bitch. And in the first 7 episodes he only uses his fist on a 2 doors and an elavator cable.
The fight scenes are not as cool as they should be, but I'm excited for the defenders because I think the director will get things going on the right direction.
