Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (flaws)

When one end of Indiana's whip is caught in the ceiling fan and the other end wrapped around an assassin's neck, the ceiling fan pulls the heavy assassin into the air ultimately hanging him.
That was one very strong ceiling fan motor and it was anchored in the ceiling with very strong screws.

Well, that was black magic so I can someone buy in to that.

This movie has to have one of the most annoying female performances in history (my opinion anyway). All she does is constantly scream INDY !!!! She drives me fricking insane...

It was probably an old-time Hunter. Those bastards were usually hung by heavy duty hook bolts. You could literally hang off them because they were installed directly into the ceiling joists, not some lightweight fixture box using 8-32 screws.
