Impractical Jokers...is this stuff staged?

I have been watching this is quit a bit the last few nights and I do admit, I find this amusing and asking myself, how I would handle these situation if put in them.
Do you feel it is staged, or real? I lean to think it is real. Fun show, nonetheless.

It's real. They shoot 5 or 6 takes for each guy and just use the funniest ones.

I imagine at this point people around Manhattan know them by now so they might get reactions from people that isn't genuine, but I believe it's 100% real. A friend of mine was on a challenge that didn't air. It was one of those challenges where they ask the person if they know them and they are reading cards that the other guys are holding up

The only show out right now that I can watch over and over and over again. Absolutely love it. Especially because they all come off as just down to earth regular schmos that everyone can relate to.

I liked guys like fouseytube and Roman Atwood, but I realized their pranks are fake, maybe not 100% but there is some level of fabrication

ive seen them live in concert. funny as shite. they said thats the biggest question they get is if its staged. they said that they film A TON of footage and we only see the good stuff. they said most is just people telling them to F off. lol
they said its 100% legit and you can tell by reactions.

Not staged, but what we see on the television show is not in sequence or sequential...meaning that they may piece together clips or pranks that are months apart so in a sense they pick a loser

Yeah, I imagine that by now most people probably recognize them. It also seems that they seem to set Murr up to lose the most. lol

Murr is the mastermind behind the show coming to fruition... therefore they give him the most shite bc he takes everything very serious.
as for the bits being fake? I see zero evidence of that. but just like any show, I am sure there is some staging that needs to take place on occasion.

you're talking about a show that is on tru tv so I doubt "most" of Manhattan knows them.
