Beginning season 5 and I haven't been really excited about finishing it since the flash forwards started happening. It appears they are headed back to the island?

I don't know. I was expecting more from the season 3 finale. I guess, I'm just lost.

Save yourself the trouble and turn it off. It is garbage from this point forward.

The only part of the show I didn't like were the flash forward/back. The flashbacks took too long and could have been shorter,

The Flashbacks were honestly my favorite part of the series. They come straight out of the gate with the flashbacks. I just don't know how you can enjoy LOST without the flashbacks.

I honestly like the flashbacks too.

It's the all of a sudden irony now that I know who makes it off the island that bothers me. Seems like an easy way out; but I hear the last episode is (polarizing?) so maybe that will get me.

Just not going to binge it

Don't worry everybody was lost in the threads that were on here when it was live. Now you have LOST philosophers who act like they knew it all along... But nobody knew wtf that was going on as the seasons went along

well said, week to week was spent with crackpot theories explaining things that may or may not been relevant.

it kinda ruined it in the end for me.

I will say that on the final episode, who gets off the Island will honestly be the least of your priorities going into it. Everyone is just too engaged in the characters at that point to care. You'll be more concerned if they get an appropriate ending. Save for a single character, I can't think of one whose problems and arc are solved by getting off the Island.

Anyone who was invested in the characters was truly satisfied in the end. People who were only obsessed with all the mysteries getting solved were pissed. It was in the former camp, and it was a wonderful ending for me.
