I still don't understand how FX got rid of Terriers...

I'm currently rewatching the series again on netflix and this show had so much potential for a 2nd season.

I read something similar earlier today.I just think this show had so much potential as a good FX drama. The funny thing is a show like "The Riches" received two seasons while this didn't.

I think it was a victim of no studio support and not really knowing how to read the On Demand data. A lot of shows failed because of that. Jericho being another one.

Terriers was decent enough that I'd watch it. I'm not sure I'd say it was awesome or great though. But I only watched it on On-demand.

It may sound dumb, but when you call your show "Terriers" you are maybe setting yourself up for failure. Its poor marketing from the get-go.

The Riches had good marketing and people wanted to like it, hence why it got some more time than it may not have deserved.

Shitty marketing by FX and abysmal ratings ultimately killed the show.
