You may or may not like the movie. Personally, I kind of enjoy it.

Did everyone else already know about this cameo and I am a complete dumbass?

Levon Helm in Shooter

I didn't recognize him because he had withered away so much.

I didn't realize it the first time I saw it either and he is my favorite. It was so unfair what happened to his voice.

terrible movie. the amount of shooting jargon that they try and squeeze in to impress the viewers is grotesque

You can't watch a Marky Mark movie just once, if so you're missing out on some next level greatness...also if you have TBS or TNT and say you saw it just once you're lying.

I knew he was in it but only because I looked it up on IMDB when I saw the movie.

I'm convinced that Levon Helm was an alter ego of William S Burroughs.

I might be in the minority but Shooter is one of my favorite movies.

I'm hoping Levon was a better shot than Burroughs. Mrs. Burroughs probably wishes the old fig had been a better shot.

I'm not really feeling "cameo" here. Was he a big enough movie star to have a cameo? His IMDb only has him in 17 movies.

I kinda look at it from the perspective that he is not known for being a movie star.

My fav Levon helm cameo is in The Adventures of Sebastain Cole where he flirts with Clark Gregg's recently transitioned Henrietta. love that movie btw. Pre-entourage bullshite grenier.

You need to read Point of Impact.

This movie was fine. Very good adaptation. The book takes place in New Orleans and in the early 90's (Its been awhile since I read it.)
