47% RT is a joke IMO. Got around to watching it last night and so glad I did. The feels.

I thought it was just fantastic, the feels from the storylines, and especially the ending.

Spoilers

Him and his father finding peace, him and his brother, his true love, but most importantly the ending. The flag at half mast (half staff no one says mast anymore) leaving his funeral, and then the chair turn, his time to replace his father's legacy. Perfect.

Very underrated film.

Great acting.

People who didnt like the film said RDJ and Robert Duvall always play the same type character in every movie.

It was still awesome watching them go back and forth.

Very touching moments in the film.

If your eyes didn't water at the ending, you don't have a heart.

Sounds like the critics decided to crush it for whatever shitty reason. I will have to give it a watch. I think I noticed it on HBO-GO.

My mom loved it and that's usually a bad sign so I skipped it. Might have to reconsider.

Not his niece. His ex-girlfriends college aged daughter.

Great movie BTW. Didn't think I would like it.

His ex-girl friend's college-aged daughter - whose father was RDJ's brother.

I thought it was kind of a Lifetime movie was an all star cast. Script was cliche, the trial "reveal" was cheap because it introduced evidence that the audience wasn't privvy to, and RDJ coming around on his father was pretty unbelievable.

The only problem I had with it is that you could tell what would happen at the end of every scene. Very sappy and cliched imo

I thought it was a really really good movie. The wife and I really enjoyed it. I like movies like that. I thought the ending was very fitting.

As a non-professional movie watcher, I loved it. Hit me right in the feels.

Did they just make out, or did they leave the bar together? I can't remember. She was definitely his niece though.
