I'm probably a youngster on this board as I'm only 21 and have never seen lotf but I see it's on Hulu now and k9nda looks like something I might enjoy. But I see that it's over 2 hours long. Is it worth the watch?

Won't be the greatest movie you've ever seen but you should enjoy it.

It's pretty good. It's kind of a little sappy. The thing that I think about it is that it is one of those movies that is good for a date night because it has the romance for her and the war/action for him.

I also think of this from How I met your mother.

I really enjoyed it. It's not the best movie of all time but it's very good. It'll hit you right in the feels.

Depends what kind of movie you're looking for. If you're looking for an action packed frontier shootout movie, you'll be disappointed and bored. If you like a strong, compelling character development movie with some top notch actors you'll like it a lot. Personally, I love it and think it has one of the best scores of any movie, but I certainly understand how many people could find it a slow period piece.

Ive seen it a few times, but it get worse each time. I probably will never watch it again. Hate to say it. It's a beautiful movie set in Montana, so the scenery is amazing.

This is the movie where I realized Pitt can't act when it comes to drama. It may be because everyone else in the movie is just soooo much better than him. I love Pitt in the funnier roles like Inflorious Bastards, etc.

And yeah, the girl is a ho.

Pretty good movie. Girl definitely a hoe. Overacted a little at the beginning especially when Samuel died but other than that I enjoyed it. Alfred was my favorite character and trusted was kind of a count for half of it.

It has an epic vibe without being an epic movie, if that makes any sense.

Great actors and great scenery, but the story kinda pissed me off.

it is one of my favorites. No it isn't one of the greatest movies of all time but I consider it an epic style type of movie. Great cinematography and score. The acting is good, Hopkins and Pitt hold their own. I would recommend it for sure.

This. The best way I saw it put once in a review was that it was "uneven". I feel like your summation is better.

All the pieces are there, but somehow they didn't fit them all together.

OP...watch it with a chick and try to finger bang her at some point when Pitt is on a horse or something. She will let you, trust Tune on this.

This was actually one of my most recent "Netflix and chill" movies. I had seen it a number of times before and liked the 1st part of the movie.

Have you ever loved a woman? Do you have brothers?

If yes to both of those, you will love the movie. If no to either of those, you will still probably love the movie.
