How good is Tom Ford?

Dude is obviously one of the most artistically and visually talented guys out there - period.

I don't know if he had ever had any film training, but obviously he would have been a master of photography being around fashion so long. But he also writes his own stuff which, to me, is the most difficult job in the industry.

I also think he can virtually pay for these movies himself if he can't get funding. They're small quality, interesting, Oscar-caliber films. I like his suits too.

He's one of those guys that just gets it. I've only seen Nocturnal Animals (Top 3 movie of '16) but I still feel safe saying he's one of the best directors out there right now. He just gets it. Hope to see more from him
