I dont understand this. If Breaking Bad and all that comes with it is boring, then what could possibly be intriguing to someone? It's a brilliant plot with fantastic acting and curveballs all over the place. To each their own.

i can tell you on my initial watch through of BB, i slept through the first few episodes repeatedly.

just couldn't get into it.

then, during xmas break last year, just decided to sit down and binge it, and i'm glad i did.

the first season definitely isn't as 'fast' paced as people want it to be...and not every episode of the series is genius, like some will say they are. But the series itself as a whole is pretty remarkable.

Perfect example of over hyping this show.

If an episode of a show doesn't have constant action and big explosions, they get bored and stop watching.

You kidding?

I honestly couldn't stop watching the show. I binge watched through last year's Super Bowl. I had to stop and reevaluate my life.

Maybe it has been over hyped.

All I ever saw on this board was awesome, amazing, GOAT. Maybe that is why I am feeling underwhelmed.

Hang in there, man. It's one of those shows where every episode is better than the one before it. It took me a while to get hooked, too, but I consider it my favorite show of all-time now.

Maybe it's not for you. I was hooked from the first episode. I would say give it through the end of Season 1 (3 more episodes) and then watch the first 2 episodes of Season 2 (Seven thirty seven and Grilled) - if you're not hooked by then, move on.

If this show bores you, then you're the guy who must expect someone to die or something to explode every single episode. Granted there's plenty of that in the series what defines it to me is the "down time" in the show.

The dialogue and character relationships in the show are incredibly well done and I've never had a show make me feel so much emotion. Some of the scenes with all of the family in the living room are absolutely heart-wrenching and powerful.

Relationship between Walt and Walt Jr. always was my favorite.

Yeah that is exactly what I'm saying. It started with "hey this is a great show, check it out, Malcolm in the middles dad (or dr Whatley) is serious, and is pretty good"...to "best show on TV, Cranston is at his best"... Now, " best fricking television show of all time, can't even comprehend how ingenious it is, Cranston best actor alive !"

Try and forget what you have read, and just try and enjoy it for what it is, because its a great show. However, I think its reputation precedes itself.
