to me it seems like it will be a lot like "Grandma's Boy"

Sandler hasnt really done a rated-R raunchy comedy ever (has he?)...but it is strange that he jumped from kids movies to this.

But Grandma's Boy was a Happy-Madison production, it just didnt have Sandler in it.

Can't be worse than 'The Waterboy'- the most monumentally horrific film ever committed to celluloid.

I haven't even seen 23 of his last 25 movies. Because they pretty much all looked like they sucked.

"Just Go With It" was a pretty good movie.

I feel bad for people that take themselves so seriously that they will never be able to enjoy a silly movie.

I mean Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and The Wedding Singer are widely viewed as pretty dang good comedies. Some of the best of the 90's. I enjoyed Big Daddy (probably haven't seen in 10 years so don't know if I would still enjoy it though) and loved The Waterboy. For me, there are four of his movies I could watch anytime. Didn't mind Click or 50 First Dates for a rom com. But basically haven't loved a Sandler movie in 12 or 13 years. I haven't even seen 23 of his last 25 movies. Because they pretty much all looked like they sucked. But what's wrong with being disappointed with somebody. He started out really great to most people and so many put a little faith in him. Nothing outrageous in that. So I've hated most of Sandlers movies. But for some reason this looks funny to me. The people who compare it to Jack and Jill and Pall Blart are idiots. The rating description tell you that. It says crude humor and nudity throughout the movie. Kind of different than everything he's done. And for me, like I mentioned, I really like Samburg. So that's another reason I think it might be good.

While I don't think Sandler has really ever been that funny, I agree with this post. I mean it can't be any worse than Jack and Jill. Plus the Red Band trailer got a few chuckles out of me. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't look like comedy gold, but it doesn't look like a steaming pile that I'm used to seeing from him.
