I don’t think it’s a good show, like at all, but I’ll be having a sixer every Friday night and enjoy the ride. It’s a weird good time.

Nailed it. Show sucked

That’s has to be it. Rebecca came back a few scenes later. As if one goes in and then another returns. Who knows? It is the only way I see him leaving Amy alone.

Yeah, I'm speculating that when something goes in, something else comes out.

Indian lady seems to be wanting to do something for the tribe. Then she follows the trail sort of to the past, but the buffalo aren't the past anymore. Tillerson digging the hole let them out into the present.

I think the hole hid itself from Tillerson because it doesn't want to be a money maker. It's got some purpose.

Hints: Royal ended up there when he "wanted to disappear." Did Rebecca and then later Perry want that as well?

It feels like Royal is the past, then there's the present, and Autumn is the future. Autumn definitely wants to change something. Maybe she knew they were losing the ranch and wants to get it so it stays in the family? But her behavior with that chanting was sure weird.

Given that we saw the colors yellow and blue as significant in the future, I’m curious if the significance of Autumn wearing red at the end versus wearing yellow.

When they gonna renew this show?

It just dawned on me that on the phone, Autumn says, Mum. Is she talking to Rebecca and is Rebecca telling her what to do?

Pretty good interview with the creator of the show about the finale:

This is what I was thinking - everyone who went through was looking for an escape in some way.

I still maintain there was way too much religious imagery going on for it to not having something to do with religion.

wtf with this show?

Royal went into the hole in 1886? came back out in 1968?

Went back in when pushed and came out a few days later?

throws the dead guy in and he appears in the woods a few days later

perry goes in and the hole closes?

the tillerson kid digs holes and then a herd of buffalo come running out?

Autumn is Amy?

Where did Rebecca actually go? Shows up at the end and takes Amy?

Tillerson should have taught his kids to fight better.

Billy and Autumn kiss like spencer and ruby in jumanji

in the end, buffalos trample everything?

What was the point of the wife making the bear bite her hand?

do they ever really explain anything?

Looks like Outer Range has been renewed for a second season.

INFO

Target date is mid 2023 and a new showrunner is taking over, which is kinda interesting.

Well I am late to this party but I ran across this show last week and we watched it in a few days.

A good cast and a good theory but man, I was confused as hell most of the series. I admit that I never thought of the big reveal at the end. The wife and I were both very surprised.

Lots of unanswered questions and I still dont really know exactly what I watched but I did like it and will watch season 2

I enjoyed this show a lot. Season 2 is still about a year away, and I can’t wait. It’s one of the more anticipated shows for me, due to the very puzzling nature, with a great cast/acting.

I think Royal is from the 1800’s. Never had ice cream until he was 9.

This turned out to be true.

You were pretty close with that prediction for the new season. New season May, 16. Hopefully Amazon does a good recap before the new episode.
