I just like how the show doesn't really have a political agenda like most others. everyone is just a self loving dickhead, like they are in real life.

I just marathoned 6 episodes last night after starting on a whim. Excellent show. It is a bit ham-handed at times but it does serve to heighten the narrative. I am most appreciative of the small moments amplified and Frank Underwood's vocabulary and delivery (although at times a bit much). Very impressed with Robin Wright in this. A very strong, subtle performance. Will be finishing the rest of the next few nights.

Has anyone watched the original British version? It's amazing how much the two mirrored each other at the very beginning. However the Brit one is four episodes long, while the Netflix series is going into multiple seasons.
