I know this is more of a casting thread, but I noticed another instance in which things were one way early then changed later. In an early episode, they were talking about showering. When, they turned to Kramer to offer his input, he said he takes baths. Then in later seasons, Kramer makes a comment that baths are disgusting since you are stewing in your own filth. Also, Kramer has an entire episode in which his main focus is being in the shower.

The first Lloyd Braun was much more of a smug douche. It fit what Braun was supposed to be much better.

They should have created a second character because the second Loyd played the crazy perfectly. The chinese gum and wrong glasses at the movie theater was a testament to how crazy those storylines really got.

Is it not possible that he used to take baths, then realized he would prefer to take showers instead later on?

That episode with the gum and coke bottle glasses is top 5 for me. It brings me to my knees in laughter
