I thought everyone knew that. The one Elaine dates in the non-fat yogurt episode is clearly different than the crazy person we see in other eps.

Did you know there were 2 Mortys too!?!?!?

There were two Franks too. But you'll never see the original one in syndication.

Correct, but that's sliiiightly different than the Morty and Braun situations. The original Frank had his one episode that he was in, but they liked Stiller so much better that they reshot all of Frank's scenes with Stiller. The episode with the original Frank (name escapes me) was only shown once I believe.

With Morty and Lloyd, it was more of a Roseanne situation where they simply switched actors and just kept on going.

According to that Wiki page it says Morty has a daughter too. I don't remember that.

Before Newman existed as a character, he was used as an off screen entity (think bob sacamano) voiced by Larry David. They later re-shot all the scenes with Morty #1, Frank #1, and Larry voicing Newman when the show was offered syndication.

Mr. Lippman also had character changes, but his character sucked until he got pissy about the socks.

Besides Newman, Larry David also plays Steinbrenner in voice only, random yells in movie theaters, the chinese gum salesman, Saddam Hussein, the guy who finds the whale when george lies about being a marine biologist, the courtroom heckler, a boxing announcer, and Franks cape laden lawyer.

I can't handle this. I'm still trying to recover from the two Darrins.

I'm definitely not disagreeing with you because I'm not an expert...but they still show syndicated episodes of early seasons with Morty #1.

Frank #1 was truly wiped out of the Seinfeld catalogue completely, as mentioned. But they still show Morty #1 on TV in the episode where the SEinfelds sleep over at Jerry's.

The first Mr. Lippman was a total sleezeball type.

Later Lippman was more like a lovable buffoon.
