So how much of this show is believable? I'd say about 70%

I think you're severely overestimating that percentage.

Honestly, that movie portrayed everyone involved in a reasonably favorable light.
No mention of Lark Voorhies's schizophrenia, nothing about the rumors of Mr. Belding sleeping with multiple extras and minor characters on the new cast, nothing about Dustin Diamond having all these problems in life and his reality show meltdowns, awful stand-up routines, or his sex tape.
The kid who played Zach was too young and way too short. He did have the early Zach look and the voice down, but he looked 15 even at the end. Same thing with the Slater kid. Needed more creatine and needed to be bigger than Screech. But he really got the voice and mannerisms down.
Same with the girl who played Kelly. She probably had the closest physical resemblance, too.
No one involved should be mad about how they came across on the show.
And the line where Peter Engel tells the NBC exec that while they're teens, they were a good group of kids and it could have been a lot worse is probably 100% right.
Mark Paul Gosselar basically has no skeletons in his closet. Not even a speeding ticket Other than Voorhies living in outer space these days (but a decade after filming ended), they really could have ended up way worse when you look at the kids on Different Strokes.

They did make Mario Lopez look like a dick but they didn't really go deep into anybody except Dustin Diamond. It seemed like DD didn't know the girls at all(Lark was Jehovah's Witness and Tiffani/Elizabeth eventually wanted to do bigger things).

Was he involved in the movie at all? He isn't listed on the IMDB credits. I like how they subtly incorporated chess in one scene.
I know his chess coach in real life pretty well. When they were out in LA filming his DVDs, apparently Diamond got heckled by teenagers non-stop and he really fricking hated it.
From my limited knowledge of the SBTB cast and their real life personas, they actually got everyone pretty close. I understand the schizophrenia is way too heavy for this kind of movie. The only "light" thing they missed is how much Tiffany Thiessen hates the show's legacy. She was the main holdout on the SBTB/Fallon stuff and not just because she had a baby.

Supposedly not based on his tell all book but it's from his POV so I doubt that. They probably just took his book and made it tamer.

From what I recall, the scandalous stuff wasn't scandalous at all. Just the Zach/Lisa stuff being pretty serious, some fights with Kelly/Lisa after the scenes ramped up, Zach being a shy guy IRL who hated the mobs of fans, and some of the cast drinking and smoking weed. And I'm sure Lopez banged a ton of women
THey were not a crazy bunch as teens. Mr. Belding might have been the worst of the group

I've only watched the first 15 or minutes or so but my favorite part was the NBC exec saying "They're both so good, we should create a new role for Berkley". That would be great and all except in the previous scene when the talent scout writes down "Mario Lopez-AC Slater" there was a chick who already auditioned for Jessie Spano.

Yeah Lifetime sucks which is why:
A) This Movie should have never happened
B) This movie should have never fricking happened

Dustin Diamond was listed as an executive producer in the opening credits.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
I was born in 89 so most of my SBTB was re runs and stuff. I liked seeing this. Actors Belding laugh was spot on. Pretty poor that they only did it once
