I bought John Wick on a clearance rack at Target for $4.99 on bluray because you guys keep going on and on about how good it is. I'm going to watch it tonight.

I tried to hate this movie and fully expected to, but did not. Quite entertaining action flick.

The closest thing I have seen to a samurai movie in a long time. Substitute the wife with a lord and the gun for a sword.

I have a beagle myself and I raged hard in the first one during "that" scene.

I went in with low expectations, and came away a fan. It was a very entertaining movie. Will definitely watch #2.

It's kind of a funny thing that I get hated on for saying that I want to see a movie that people like. People are weird. But anyway, I'm going to try to catch this next week.

Viggo Tarasov: I heard you struck my son.
Aureilo: Yes, sir, I did.
Viggo Tarasov: And may I ask why?
Aureilo: Yeah, well, because he stole John Wick's car, sir, and, uh, killed his dog.
Viggo Tarasov: [pause] Oh.

John is a man of focus, commitment, sheer will... something you know very little about. I once saw him kill three men in a bar... with a pencil. With a frickin'... pencil. Then suddenly one day he asked to leave. It's over a woman, of course. So I made a deal with him. I gave him an impossible task. A job no one could have pulled off. The bodies he buried that day laid a foundation of what we are now. And then my son, a few days after his wife died, you steal his car and kill his frickin' dog.

How he has his own cleanup crew to come in and make all the blood and bodies disappear after he lays waste to people was funny as shite.

The whole gold coin thing was cool...
