HBO Cancels Hello Ladies

quote:

First, the bad news: HBO will not renew Stephen Merchant's "Hello Ladies" or Christopher Guest's "Family Tree" for second seasons. But, "Hello Ladies" will end with a comedy special, The Hollywood Reporter learned.

At least it is getting a comedy special. Article is a few days old so SIAP. Did not see anything in search results.

damn, I just started watching Hello Ladies on HBOGO

I've enjoyed it so far, though some parts are so awkward I can't watch

This may not be great news for HBO's latest half-hour show, "Looking." The show's debut drew just 338,000 viewers before second play, even with a big lead-in from "Girls."

The writing is on the wall for "Looking" and Girls has already been granted a fourth season...

Not too many shows on HBO get cancelled early. Anyone remember the dog that was John from Cincinnati?

Girls is pretty damn bad. I admit to watching a few episodes during this crap weather we've been having and there's no plot, at all. Plus Lena Dunham has to be one of the most awkward girls ever. No way that the boyfriend in the show would date her in real life!!
