Yeah I bet that movie will rake in tons of money. He'll be spending a fortune to make himself look like an even bigger fool. That is fine with me.

Well, "Bowling For Columbine" didn't exactly go into the red:

Why doesn't "Conservative Hollywood" make any movies?

Why haven't the Koch Brothers Executive Produced the movie adaptation of "The Turner Diaries"?

Jesus Christ.
Is that what you think conservatives read?

There are plenty of conservatives in Hollywood. Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson, and Arnold Schwarznegger to name a few.

He said that his intention is to make the movie such a condemnation of the use of guns in America that the ammunition industry would take a noticeable hit afterwards.
Weinstein said that people will be leaving the movie theater thinking 'Gun stocks — I don’t want to be involved in that stuff'.

The movie supersize me did nothing to stop people from eating fast food. In fact i ate McD's on the way home.

I assume this will do much of the same.

I don't follow you. Is the NRA not representing the intrests of it's constituents? I'll admit that I don't follow the activities and public debate statements of the NRA, but I assume that they support the right for individuals to own firearms. Where's the joke?

I'm sure Weinstein's arm candy is with him for his "personality" as she'd say, but the guy much be worth billions. Because he certainly doesn't have looks going for him...

He's one ugly man and has no clue what he's talking about. Gotta love these Hollywood types who force their views onto us lowly commoners.

Harvey Weinstein and Meryl Streep to take on gun lobby with movie

Sounds like someone got their pride hurt and is lashing out.

Would be surprised if this every see's the light of day.

Something else going on.

His arm candy is Georgina Chapman of Marchesa Brand she is worth quite a bit herself so what she sees in him is anyone's guess.

Like someone said it's the conservative version of PETA. They just take everything way too far and make it impossible for any compromise or discussions on the matter.

But a gun lobby that uses it's influence to water down the ATF and make enforcing laws already on the books, laws that enjoy broad bipartisan support, very difficult (if not impossible) is something else.
Isn't that what activist groups do, as a function of being activist?
