Modern Family was a pretty dang solid pilot. Fully developed characters and plotlines

Fun fact I picked up from that pilot.

They are talking about the 'sweatiest' movies of all time. Cliff says 'Body Heat', which is Cliff Clavin's first line of the show. The camera cuts to Sam, which Ted Danson was in 'Body Heat'.
