Grease vs Grease 2

Grease 2 is an awful movie.

Story: Grease > Grease 2

The story is just stupid in Grease 2. Grease, Sandy had to prove she was a cool chick.

Grease 2, some limey has to prove to chicks that he's cool enough to hang out with them.

Grease two I’ll give you is hilariously awesomly bad and could be a fun watch if you’re bored. But to say it even hold a candle to the original Grease is just crazy talk that’s like comparing and Empire strikes back to Last Jedi.

It is well know inside the industry & Hollywood that Michelle Pfieffer got her parts due to being a call girl & made the right connnections at the right time to get this part along with Scarface. You would be shocked how many famous actresses got their starts by being hookers. I'm talking about you Sharon Stone & Denise Richards.

everything about Grease is superior to Grease 2

Grease 2 is to Grease what Caddyshack 2 is to Caddyshack.

Thanks a lot. Now I have Grease 2 songs stuck in my head.

I love them both. Grease is clearly the better movie, but Grease 2 has that nostalgia factor for me.

When I lived in Dubai, the only American pop culture we had was whatever our family back in the states would send us. It couldn't be anything that the local authorities would see as obscene, so it was normally vhs recordings of The Price is Right and Loony Tunes cartoons.

But we did have Grease and Grease 2, and my sister and I would watch them both religiously.

And Xanadu. We watched a lot of Xanadu.

Back to School, Reproduction, Who's That Guy & Cool Rider are great. The rest of the songs fall short, IMO.

Doesn't shock me to hear that Pfeiffer took the casting couch route. At this point, I just assume that everyone in Hollywood that you see on screen has fricked their way into a breakout role.

A couple of years of CDAN hasn't changed my mind.
