Are they/ can they name the villains?
This joker is really good. All the backstory helps because I didn't read the comics. Even why batman won't kill him makes more sense now.
They had to kill penguin, he was awesome then he went gay.

Solid episode, the Jerome face-off at the end was great! Can't wait to see what they do with him when he eventually escapes.

The joker doesn't really have a backstory in the comics. His origins are hazy at best.

I agree, but I think it was intentional to set up his return. Now he is going to probably go apeshit with zero care or regard for anyone. Remember he only loved his mom (murdered) and Nigma (shot penguin). I have a feeling he returns more ruthless than ever.

I sort of had a feeling he might be behind the Court of Owls, but wouldn't have bet any money on it.
I'm also curious if it will be League of Shadows (like the article insinuates and like it was in Batman Begins) or league of Assassins, and if they'll pronounce it Rah's (like in Batman Begins) or Raische (like in the Arkham games). How is it pronounced in Arrow?
