They won't believe he died but Davos was able to talk them into believing WW's are coming?

I find it hard to believe that when Jon was named King in the north, none of the other houses would question his desertion of the nights watch. The north is so serious about that shite. I doubt they'd just believe he died, fulfilling his vow, was resurrected, and then able to leave.
All they really need to do is send a raven to castle black to confirm.

I'm sure by now the tales of him coming back to life have spread. Also the night's watch isn't calling him a deserter.

Right, the seven remaining members of the Night's Watch approve of Jon's decision.
Speaking of, I had a horrible feeling that Ramsay was going to have Edd on a flaming cross before the Battle of the Bastards. It didn't make sense to me that he would wait for Jon and Sansa to rally an army before doing what he originally intended before killing his father - storming castle black and killing Jon Snow.
Also, who the frick is at the dreadfort right now?

When lords go off to war they leave a small garrison of prob 100 men to protect the castle.

So is Qyburn basically assuming all 7 roles in Cersei's small council?
That first conversation with Jaime is going to be a little - awkward.

I really hope there is an ice dragon or something in the wall and it wasn't just a reference to Jon Snow being the Ice Dragon at the wall.
We need an aerial dogfight between Dany/Drogon and the Night King/Ice Dragon.
If an ice dragon does show up and NK is the rider, 2 of Dany's dragons will get rekt at the minimum
Perhaps Jon could ride the ice dragon

I want to see ice dragons and ice spiders .
What are the chances of TWoW coming out in between now and S7??

It's been 4 months since the fat mans last deadline and he still hasn't announced anything close to a release date. But hey he gave us another chapter so who gives a shite at this pace we will have read the entire book in 10 years when it's out.

He probably always had doubts about finishing the books that's why he did the tv show. That way his story at least gets finished

My expectations are low that he finishes the series.

Yeah, it's quite obvious this is true
The true storytellers here are D&D

I know the books and show are different animals, but it would be a huge bummer to not see BotB and all the E10 events not play out in the books. Those two episodes were perfection.
Kind of like how I wish Jon would've fought at Hardhome in the books.

I just don't see that the Battle of the Bastards will happen in that way in the books. It makes more sense for it to be smaller than on the show and for Ramsay to come to Jon at the Wall, not the other way around. Plus I think that "Arya" and Theon would have made it at least in sight of Jon, so that largely negates Jon needing to start the battle, and I don't see a circumstance where Ramsay will get Rickon. I think the main arc of Jon in WoW will be accepting his role as Rhaegar's son and being the Prince that was Promised, and the moment he accepts it is when he faces off with Ramsay.
With Episode 10, I think Cersei will blow up the Sept of Baelor, but Margeary is the one who coerces Tommen into banning the Trial by Combat, leading to all the deaths. I don't think Tommen will kill himself though and will live until shortly before Cersei is killed. Cersei will never become the Queen proper, especially since Stannis is still alive. I also see Dorne and the Tyrells allying themselves with Aegon and not Dany. I don't think Dany is returning to Westeros with this large of an army that she has in the show intact.

Yeah, I see no reason why this shouldn't have taken place in the books as well.

Interesting. I just don't see it happening but I suppose it's possible.
