So...do you think there will be any more "future spoilers" as the show catches up more and more with the books?

I believe there will be. It's a rare thing when a best selling author gets to play revisionist historian with his novels through a new medium, in this case television. If anything was left on the cutting room floor by his book editors, he can now go back and insert them into the show.

The meeting between Arya and Melisandre is one example, and I like to think the scene with Bronn and The Hound in Blackwater is as well. I can see GRRM sitting with his goofy arse hat thinking, "I'll show them now!"

So what do y'all think about the show making littlefinger 10x's more sadistic than he is in the books

Well he did thrown Lysa out the Moon Door. I like it, but I think the book version of him was pretty sadistic as well. He would do literally anything to climb the ladder.

But he's more slippery in the books to me, not as transparent as he's presented in the show.

I think they just need an excuse to get Baelish and Varys more screen time.

Expanding on their character development is a good way to do it... Using Ros was a nice way to do it for both of them.

Who knows what they're going to do with Varys after next season.

He goes missing for all of Feast and all but the epilogue of Dance

They showed Theon getting flayed

My wife has caught maybe 4-5 scenes of GoT since I started watching: the flayed finger, Loras and the courtier banging (complete with weiner shot), the Littlefinger scene where he teaches the whores how to properly bang, and Drago mounting Dany the first time. All she says is, "Damn wizards and dragons shite. You're so gay."

I do. This is one of the best shows on TV, that episode is going to make it THE best. They need to do everything. From beginning to end. Telling Robb to leave behind Grey Wind, the great mood at the wedding all of a sudden changing, Catelyn's realizing something is wrong, Dacey Mormont being turned down, Catelyn killing the simple Frey and clawing her face, Robb's new head... ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. And they have to end the episode with the Hound chasing down Arya and swinging the ax... screen goes black. Viewers need to throw remotes through their TV. Anything else would be a huge letdown.

Agree 100%. It needs to be brutal to get the full effect. Even if some anticipate them being betrayed, there's no way they can anticipate how horrible it is going to be.

agree 100%. people may suspect a bolton betrayal, but in no way can they imagine what they're in for

So I have a question:

Is the RW going to be Robb's wedding?

Because the only wedding for them that is forseeable is Edmure's wedding...and on the show Robb was married in secret, if I remember correctly. I know they showed him getting married.

So...could it be Edmure's wedding that is the RW?

RW stands for Red Wedding. From your post, I don't know if you want more information than that. You a book reader?

I haven't reread Storm of Swords since about 2004, so I could be a bit hazy.

I don't have time to go re-read that shite.

OK, Red Wedding is Edmure's wedding to the Frey girl. That is what RW refers to.

Watch out we got a badass over here.

Like I said, I started reading these books in 99. I haven't read SoS since my reread in anticipation of AFFC. It has been a long time.

At one time, I was so obsessed with these books that I guarantee I knew everything there was to know, every theory, everything.

I've forgotten a few details along the way. For some reason I remember the RW being Robb's. Completely forgot about Edmure's deal until last night.

The Red Wedding is a suppressed memory. One of the only times I have ever thrown a book.

I know it stands for Red Wedding. I know what happens. I just forgot that it was Edmure's wedding and not Robb's. My apologies.
