I'm on the Wiki right now.
I can't believe its been almost a decade since I read that book.
I kind of glanced at the wikis when I was reading Dance but didn't look at that as I "knew what happened". Clearly needed to do a better job.

Honestly, I know I've said it before, but I barely finished Dance. I found it to be a complete bore...and that is coming from someone that checked Martin's blog every month for like 7 years.

I don't know. It's really just been what he did to Ros that has made him look more sadistic, but Littlefinger was never shy about giving Joffrey playthings to preoccupy his time and thus ensuring that more people learned to hate the kid. It wouldn't shock me if book Littlefinger would have done the same thing here if he found out one of his whores was selling him out to Varys. Seems in character.

I'd say that even in the books, Littlefinger is definitely a sadist. He's good about hiding it, but he enjoys causing pain and suffering to those around him. In fact his whole political career has revolved around it.

Probably confused you because it was supposed to be Robb's Wedding. Edmure was just a substitute.

We've got 3 seasons at BEST before they have to get into Winds of Winter stuff. Which means he's got 4-5 years to finish 2 books in the longest timeline I can imagine.

I would imagine we'll see WoW before the series catches up. I can't imagine GRRM taking 3 more years to finish it. But no way A Dream of Spring comes out in time though.

We've talked about that in the past. I think they'll have some flashback episodes interspersed, but I can't see an entire season.
It would be a problem with Actors contracts. Basically these actors/actresses need to be committed to this for a decade. Bran/Arya/Sansa are going to start looking old really soon.
