I don't think he won't. My point was more to how they have sullied his character in the show. They started to get him right and then turned him into Cersei's whiny courter bowing to her every bid. He became quite a strong character in the books, yet in the show there have only been a couple of flashes.

I still have hope they get him right

I think there's still a chance they get him right in that arc with his reaction to her when he shows up in Kings Landing post-wildfire. The look on his face said a lot.

Jamie will kill her and they will die together in very Shakesperean fashion. He knew that there love was dead during the coronation. It's really the only way their story can end.

I think Arya kills her, w Jamie's face. Does that mean Jamie goes too? :)

Cersei lives in the end but Jaime dies.

Well, that's what Cersei has always wanted. She'd take satisfaction in that death. I want her to be as defeated and heartbroken as Catelyn was at her death.

I think Jaime has a larger purpose in the narrative, like helping Rhaegar's rightful child save the realm and win the Iron Throne.

She already is. Her only motivation is to get back at the world as much as possible before her inevitable demise. She has nothing to lose.

I tend to think Jaime will go to Jon like Tyrion went to Dany.

I really think there are only 2 things in life Cersei has ever truly wanted:

1) For her and her children to rule the Seven Kingdoms uncontested.
2) For her and Jaime to die together in each other's arms.

Jaime dying with Cersei would be incredible gravy to make up for failing the first part. Jaime just outright killing her telling her why he truly killed the Mad King, with Cersei finally realizing what a sad monster she has become to gain power, would be much more satisfying.

Although Tyrion knows it in the show (he doesn't in the books because he is shocked when some of the Wildfire is actually found) to where it would surprise me if Show Jaime didn't tell Cersei, I'm almost sure Brienne is the only person he's told the story to in the books, although Varys certainly also knew the plot.

Am I the only one hoping the Mountain gets drunk and fricks her to death?

You don't think the look he gave her during her coronation hinted that??

Exactly ... but let's not forget, she gave him a look back.

She may kill Jaime - because I never trust that the series is going to follow the book completely.

I'm not completely convinced, especially with the return of the Brotherhood Without Banners, that Lady Stoneheart might not finally make an appearance ... I dunno.

Both her and Jaime have said this a few times. They want to go out as two star struck forbidden lovers. Granted I think Jaime is now over it, but Cersei still would want Jaime to go down with her.

Ewwwww .... that just made me think of something else that would really be gross with the whole brother/sister incest thing that I've never been comfortable with since Season 1 Ep 1.

They both need to die.

Prophecy will be thrown out of window on tv show bc they didn't mention that part of the prophecy.

Arya will kill her, and probably the mountain too.
