I'm not from this generation or anything so I can't connect with it, but I love this movie. It is awesome.

Of course you can connect with it; that's why you love it. Its a movie made in the early 90s about a day in the 70s, sure, but what the characters do and go through are timeless acts that all teenagers go/went through

A masterpiece. It's set in the '70s but the characters and what they do mirror my '90s high school experience so closely it's like a nostalgia trip for an era I didn't even live in.

Any time I pass one of the surviving Moon Towers in Austin (which is often) I get a happy feeling because they remind me of this movie.

My friends and I were still going to Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd concerts in high school when the movie came out.

Okay guys, one more thing, this summer when you're being inundated with all this American bicentennial Fourth Of July brouhaha, don't forget what you're celebrating, and that's the fact that a bunch of slave-owning, aristocratic, white males didn't want to pay their taxes.

That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

Great movie. Even though it's set in Texas in the 70's, everybody can relate to that movie. Playing sports, getting drunk, high and laid is what high school is about. Great soundtrack and great cars too in this movie.

How's it going man?

Hey man you got a joint?

No not on me man.

It would be a lot cooler if you did.
