Fair enough but it’s still not an attack. I just figured that with the high end projections being what they are for the weekend it’s now obvious the movie won’t come near 175m for the weekend which was the wager.

It’s not my fault you don’t understand what you’re reading. It’s Sunday, the weekend totals aren’t even in yet and you’re using a projection through Monday as if it’s already happened. Then you’re using numbers that are totally made up where it hasn’t even opened yet, not only adding them but trying to change the definition of “opening weekend” to include those make believe numbers. Jeez man you’re so far off the reservation it’s hard to even converse with you but I guess that’s what people like you do when you come up against facts.

This isn't the movie I wanted. Yet there were elements in there which were spot on with the long history of Godzilla.
Without going down the laundry list of things I disliked, I'll say that there were really solid messages in the movie. Stuff rarely seen in 'modern times'. I just don't think they were edited in very well, nor was most of the movie.
What we got is still a fun watch, but damn, the journey in the Monsterverse from 2014, Skull Island, KOTM and then GvK... 10 years is a fantastic run, but I think it needs to pump the brakes and maybe reset itself.
