Girl meets world vs Fuller house

I started watching girl meets world this weekend because I was curious. I have to say I rather enjoy it.
I couldn't help but compare it to fuller house. Because two generally loved TV series getting sequels of sorts seemed like a good comparison.
Now I like both, but I watched fuller house first. While both are corny, now that I've watched some of GMW I'm looking back on fuller house and thinking most of it's comedy is corny for the sake of being corny. It also tried too hard to give throwbacks to the original series that didn't feel genuine.
GMW on the other hand is focusing on the new characters and younger kids completely. The occasional throwback to the original series they do doesn't feel forced. It's corny because that is what it's supposed to be, and has some generally heartwarming moments.
Okay MTV board because I'm bored and like I good discussion who has watched both and what are your thoughts.

Fuller House is what Girl Meets World should have been, if that even makes sense. Who knows though, when the 2 girls get older, they may move the show to ABC Family for more "mature" audiences. Who knows.

Makes complete sense and I agree and it's what I was hoping for when I started it. I think Disney is trying for a new audience while fuller house is trying to bring the original fans back. I think the writing is better in GMW and the younger actors are better.

Fuller House was okay but all you really need to see is the first episode

and that's why I hate it. I don't give a crap about the new people. I like the interaction with old characters.
I guess it makes sense that GMW is aimed toward a new audience while Fuller is for the old fans.
I love Fuller. I hate GMW.
I love Boy Meets World more than Full House though, if we are comparing originals.

I think, a lot like Boy Meets World, the first season of GMW is the sillier one. Granted, it's not as good as BMW season 1 by any stretch. BUT, I think August Maturo who plays the little brother is awesome, the two female leads show moments of talent in the deeper emotional scenes, and I also enjoy Farkle's acting.
Season 2 is feeling a lot deeper already a few episodes in.

Farkle is just way too over the top of a character for GMW to be watchable.

I was never a huge BMW fan and GMW doesn't appeal to me, looks like it's for kids. Full House I love for the corny awfulness and I find Fuller House to have a few legit funny jokes.
