Gilmore Girls A Year In The Life: Summer Episode *SPOILERS*

Anyone else notice the nod to Reese Witherspoon in the opening scene at the pool? Lorelai was reading Wild, which Reese starred in, and the Totes Yall bag is exclusively sold by Reese's store, Draper James.

I didn't hate April in the original run of the show, but her character in the revival was terrible. The fact she was at MIT was fitting, but the whole fake hippie act was annoying.

Rory, you can't be pissed when Logan's fiance is at his apartment you harlot.

The secret bar thing was cute and a good quirky scene that was perfectly Stars Hollow.

Rory reviving the Stars Hollow Gazette is a nice storyline for her- getting to do what she loves but also being in her hometown.

The musical was pretty funny (I'm obsessed with Sutton Foster), but it really went on too long. However, Lorelai's criticism of the musical genuinely surprised me. Usually she would just enjoy something like that for the sole purpose of mocking it.

Emily doing the 6 gravestone changes for Richard was classic Emily Gilmore. I guess she has to be discontent with something now that she's not firing maids every week.

Lorelai is the last person I would ever expect to spend weeks in the outdoors. That was so out of left field.
