It was boring and lifeless. No emotion from any of the actors. Just a very dull experience all around.

It was a good casting choice. She looked exactly like the anime character.
What I never understood about all the controversy surrounding her casting was how anime artists rarely draw human characters who actually look Asian.

The writers removed the most compelling parts of the story an added very little of interest. Replacing the Puppet Master with Kuze was not the right move at all imo. An AI trying to become human in a world where humans desire to become more like machines was what I found fascinating about the original film. Its a shame because I thought they really nailed it visually.

That's because of the Marvel movies. She is not the main draw in those. We could also say Sam Worthington is the highest drawing actor of all time because he was in Avatar.
