and dude, you have to at least give that the light saber battles were pretty fun yes?

They were over the top for sure, but they weren't great. Luke and Vader dancing and throwing shite at each other was so much better than any of the duels that were provided to us. Lucas missed some opportunities for some great duels.

First off he should have built up Mace as a Jedi rival to Anakin, and had him be the first person he kills very directly out of rage instead of the dumb BS we saw in RotS. Mace should have found out about the Padme romance, had him directly kicked out of the Jedi Order, and then Palpatine would welcome him as a member of his administration. In fact, I'd up the stakes for Anakin and Mace's duel, and have Darth Maul in all 3 movies, and have the three of them meet at the same time. Instead of joining Mace for a 2 on 1 duel against Maul, Anakin decides to kill them both at the same time, resulting in a 3 way duel. Seriously, how much better would that have been than any duel we were presented in the prequels.

Plus, I have a problem with Obi Wan leaving Anakin alive to slowly die of third degree burns. When Anakin gets severely burned, Obi Wan should think that he was killed instantly, not slowly suffering on a volcanic world. That was just fricked up leaving his so-called "brother" to suffer on the coast of a molten volcanic river.

Ironic in so many ways

he's so bitter that everyone hated the prequels, the 4th Indiana jones and that shitty redtails movie

his ideas suck, they've always sucked without gary Kurtz, and George really has a tough time admitting that even though he made a killing on all of his shitty movies

You have no clue what you are talking about here.

I never got the hate for the prequels.

Never.

Were they as strong of movies as I hoped...no...but they weren't these shite fests that the rabid fan boys like to pretend.

Same for the fourth Indy movie...it's like people forgot that Indy in the first movie was in fact a cartoon character which didn't change throughout the 4 movies....the whole idea that people could believe in a face melting god but not landscaping aliens....again people lost their damn minds.

The problem with modern society...is that people just look to hate everything, rather then enjoy it for what it was...a couple hours of popcorn entertainment....its sad really.

Then there is the matter of Dookoo (sp?)

We didn't get any villians in II until the last 20 minutes. WHole time you are wondering when the real bad guys are going to show up. The movie just meandered all over the place. Christopher Lee was good but damn, he should have been brought in much sooner.

And not been killed off right after the title card in the 3rd movie.

He was suppose to be this bad arse powerful warrior.

Boom dead.

That did frustrate me.

I have a hard time listening to anything Lucas says at all.

The prequels were bad of course but what pissed me off more than that was the shitty arse changes he made to the originals. Stupid
