After hearing about the new Splash movie, Hollywood really has taken hard to the "reboot and swap genders" position.
Are there any movies you think could actually work with this formula?

Did you see the remake of Evil Dead? The main character is a chick and isnt pushed as a new ash, but is the new center of the story. That's one example I think worked very well. As a straight horror movie, it was extremely well done.
