so. Still, if he just shows up and presto, chango revives Jon, my eyes are going to roll right out of my head.
Honestly I think you're looking for any reason you can find to do this

Lol.. A good friend of mine's(who is a td.com poster)daughter could be her twin. Trying to set her up with my son.

Whatever, man. Edd stabs Jon.
Any thoughts on Sansa grabbing the corkscrew thing? I think maybe she just wounds Ramsay and escapes. I don't think she kills him with it. That would be too many book spoilers in one episode.

Here's how I think it will go down. Jon will say "frick this. I'm going to Winterfell," then we'll see Ollie stab him. Audience will react "that little fricker. I knew it!," then Jon will turn and someone else, possibly Allister, will stab him. Audience reacts "fricking Allister! He's always hated Jon! Someone save Jon!" Then, boom. Edd stabs him but doesn't look happy about it. Audience is shocked. Jon does an "et tu Brute" look and drops to the ground, bleeds out, we see warg eyes, fade to black, roll credits, and we have to wonder WTF is up until the book comes out or next season begins.
If Benjen comes back just to stab him, my head will explode. And don't tell me a Stark wouldn't do that to anyone deserting the Watch, regardless of who it was. They absolutely would.

You're gonna be pissed when Jon doesn't decide to the leave the watch, and Ollie just stabs him for aligning with his parents' killers.

You've officially jumped your own shark

Does no one have thoughts on this?
quote:You don't suppose Jaime gets it, do you? They still have to have him hook up with Brienne. Maybe Bronn, but that wouldn't "change the whole direction of the show."
actress Jessica Henwick, who plays Nymeria Sand, gave an interview stating that she and her on-screen sisters have another big action scene in the finale. And that something “extreme” is going to happen that changes the entire direction of the show.
Either way, the fight quality will probably suck.

If they kill Jaime off of the show then the show has gone off the fricking rails. Jaime is a great redemption story that they have fricked up so far but it is a tough target to miss completely.
I'm not sure what the Sand Snakes could do to change the direction of the whole show unless they kill Tristane and Myrcella both and blame both on each other. Or blame Jaime for Tristane's death and kill Myrcella starting the war between the Lannister's and Dorne up, that would shift the direction but not really change the direction. I just don't think there is anything that the Sand Snakes could do that would absolutely wreak havoc on the story.

I just don't think they have time to flesh out the pink letter, then his decision to leave the NW (especially after Hardhome), then the FTW moment. Just seems a lot to put in when they have so many other storylines to address as well. It just seems a lot easier to have Ollie shank him due to the already established storyline of Ollie's parents' death. But I could very well be wrong, but if Edd is apart of a FTW stabbing I'll be skeptical after what Edd saw Jon do at Hardhome.

I've thought since Jamie first decided to go to Dorne that he probably won't make it back alive. It just seems like an easy diversion from the book with some shock value for D&D to pull off.
But if the Snakes kill Jamie, I don't know how that would change the entire direction of the show. I'm thinking that she meant that as a separate statement and that something else (Jon's death) would change the show, not the Dorne storyline.

just fyi, the crazy vfx challenge everyone is talking abot is the double size dragons for next season
Posted on 6/14/15 at 3:53 pm to Carson123987
But read the article in this link: LINK
They talk about the VFX for the dragons and the Hardhome battle. Then they talk about the dragons doubling in size next season. Then it says:
So whatever the mindblowing VFX are going to be is something that they wanted to do in season 4, and then in this season and they balked at both. So it couldn't be the doubling of the size since the dragons already have grown over seasons 4 & 5. There was nothing cryptic about the dragons doubling in size.

Gower was much more cryptic about a mind-blowing VFX challenge that fans will see in Season 6… probably. “Benioff and Weiss, when they write the outline each year, for last two years, we got to this one point and we read this one gag and thought 'Oh my God, how the hell are we going to do that? But this is going to be incredible!’ And then it got pulled and we didn’t do it in Season 4,” says Gower. “And then, lo and behold, in Season 5 there it was again. And it’s pulled again! But now, in Season 6, it looks like we’re going to do it. Fingers crossed they won’t chicken out.”

quote:Yeah, that really does seem to be their style. I hope not, but it seems to be the only thing that would "change the whole direction . . ." Maybe Myrcella dying, since we got the prophesy in E1.

I don't know the context of the quote. I didn't read the interview, just the article that SP posted on page 2. It mentions the interview, but doesn't link it.
I hadn't been reading the Hodor thread. There is some serious hostility going on in there.

Yeah StoneHog or whatever is just shitting all over that thread

The phrase "chicken out" makes it sound like it would be controversial. Maybe they just mean that it's difficult.
