If any of the Targs regain power, Jaime is a dead man or will have to go to the Wall, which might not exist by the end of the season. There's no forgiving what he did, especially if it's Dany, Aerys's daughter, or Jon, his grandson.
Anyway, Brienne is in love with Jaime, and he probably knows that if his family loses the throne, he's screwed, and because his family ain't gonna retain the throne, I'm thinking they die together.

I think Jaime would be fine. Remember that Aerys also killed Jon's uncle and grandfather. He's not going to all of a sudden think Aerys was a great king.

I don't think Jaime would automatically be screwed if Dany rises to power. She was ok with her brother being killed in front of her because he was crazy, it doesn't seem farfetched that she would pardon Jaime for killing her crazy arse dad who she didn't even know
