I think D&D said in an interview that Ser Pounce was a pain in the arse to train for that scene since cats do what they want.

Stannis showed up and crushed the wildlings and saved Jon Snow and Castle Black. That wasn't cool enough for you? Also scaled the wall almost alone to fight Joffery's men in the battle of blackwater Bay. All of this was in the show

Well he didn't take Melissandre to Blackwater and he lost so maybe he needs to take her with him everywhere. I don't get the hate for her. Granted, she shouldn't have killed Renly but she worships the same god that Dondarion and his outlaws do and people seem to like them.

Meh. This is where the show starts revealing that it has no clue what it's doing. I've still kept up a minor interest/abhorrence with the books but the show seems so patronizing now more so than ever. Why do I care about these amazingly incompetent people? I'll watch at some point but there is nothing spectacular or deep about this show IMHO.
