Oh. I was looking to go in there and make fun of him. He deserves it for doing something so stupid.

Three major scenes from the book will be happening.

1. Astapor dickhead gets face melted off
2. Mormont Dies
3. Tyrion engaged to Sansa

i dont think so. by skipping the wedding, they could negate the need for oberyn and mace to be in this season

The Viper is irrelevant to the wedding itself.

I can't believe you think they could kill Jof without the wedding.

It's such vital part of so many story lines.

The drama of the Tyrells and Martells at the wedding would be missing but yeah, he doesn't have to be there

I'm not some outlier...there are a lot of people on winteriscoming that think that is exactly what will happen

It wouldn't be completely cut, just scaled down a lot to where it's not the full wedding. this way, they could not worry about a ton of extras and decorations. a small celebration for RW or something, idk. smae shite still happens, just much smaller of a scale

Why?

The budget constraints excuse is bullshite IMO.

They don't have to produce the wedding on the scale that it was in the book.

The attack on the wall will probably be biggest ticket item for next season.

i hear you. it's impossible to say for now.

Battle at the Wall will be so fricking expensive, that's one of the reasons I think Joffrey dies this season

Love the picture of Varys and the Queen of Thorns out for a little stroll. Totally innocent and no scheming going on there I'm sure.

Chance of scheming, very high. Chance of balls, zero.

You're assuming they remember who Tyrion and Sansa are.

Small scale doesn't sound very Lanister!

I could see them pushing the Martell arrival to next season (or a general "Those are the Martells, those are the xxxxs" introduction during the wedding but with the main actors not coming til next season). I just don't know what you end with coming off the RW to not completely piss off too many viewers other than the PW. The Mhysa stuff.

You could also have the 3 concurrent shots at the end fit into the 'Mhysa' title. Dany in the scene the title pulls from, Cersei holding purple frickhead, Lady Stoneheart (is that this soon? Hazy memory is telling me we got it in a flashback vision, so it could take place here). All dealing with mothers.

I really don't think they give a frick about the viewers feelings just like GRRM DGAF about the readers.

The viewers know what they're getting into after season one and the unpredictability of the show is one of it's strengths.

No reason to pander with the purple wedding at the end of this season.

The anticipation for next season will be that much bigger and it's not like the show is struggling for viewership.

this would be ideal, but i kinda dont want stoneheart till next season at least. would diminish the impact of rw imo
