I think I hate the sparrows more than I hate Cersei. The walk will be awesome, but I really hope they all get wiped out.

GRRM did a really good job showing what happens when you give religious people military power. Instant Dark Ages, and they're just as power-hungry as the rest of them.

So they are actually sending Jon to Hardhome? They are really deviation from the books this season. I wonder if/how that will play into him getting stabbed.

That wasn't the fighting pits. They made mention of how it was sort of a pre-trial. Fighting pits come later.

My theory is that it times up with him returning to the wall at the same time that Mel is retreating back to the wall after Stannis either is killed, or shuns her because of the daughter thing or both

No, I think we get a glimpse of Robert Strong at the end of the season, then book 6 some time late this year or early next year. Then, they'll have enough material to do season 6. After that, who knows?

Speaking of which, is OP going to fix the error in the thread title?
