Can you bump this thread and discuss your feelings about the Lannisters after the 9th episode?
Well, Joffrey didn't disappoint last night. I just knew after he said the sentence was going to be the Nights Watch that there was a "but" moment coming. God, what a dickbag. The other Lannisters didn't bother me as much. I am interested to see what happens to Jaime, who was captured at show's end. Cersei actually showed remorse after Joffrey asked for his head, and Tyrion did not disappoint in the scene with the woman and when he went into battle.
Solid ep last night and cannot wait to finish the first season tonight although very sad to see Ned go. I still have my little badass Arya though! I love her character!
Also, to everyone posting about Roberts Rebellion, I have read up on it and understand what went down there! Thank you for the links!
I also started the first book last night and it was amazing to me how much the book followed the show, at least to that point. The first 30 pages are all in the show.

I just finished the first book and started the second. This metamorphosis is unavoidable, I can already feel it starting. But I guess you just don't know about it yet......

Yea, the first book and season are pretty much exact.
Some differences moving forward after that.
Team Arya for life!

Love that little girl man! That was another "Oh shite" moment for me when she turned and stabbed that fat kid a couple of eps back.

You bastard.
Just remember, in the game of Game of Thrones spoilers, you either win or you get banned, or both, I guess.

Finally, I can only imagine and hope that the rest of the seasons live up to the first, am I right?
Every season leaves you thinking about how awesome it is. Then you watch the next one, and realize the previous season, while awesome, isn't in the same class as the current...so on and so forth.
It's just an all around amazing show from season to season.

I thought third and fourth were better than the first two. That second to last episode in four was hard to beat. Period.
Only spoiler: Watch it on a real large screen tv.
