I've seen seasons 1-3 probably 5 times. Season 4 twice and Seasons 5&6 once when they originally aired.

It's weird going back and seeing Ned, watching Bran walk and Jamie has both hands

I plan on doing a series rewatch soon. It's going to take a lot of self control to go in order and not just rewatch S6 E9 & 10 over and over again.

On episode 2 of season 1, and damn is it hard not to want to watch S6 ep 9 and 10 again. But it is interesting to see scenes with characters together that haven't been anywhere close to each other for years. I especially like the Tyrion and Jon Snow scenes. I also like the perspective as which you watch now knowing all these characters fates.

A few Takeaways:
I would've liked to have seen more of the Starks all together than just one episode, but I know they had to get the story going. Great seeing Robb, Jon, Ned, Bran and Arya all interact together. Cat Stark is on the Skylar White level of annoyance. Cersei is just pure evil, even then. I hate Joffrey so much I want to fast forward through his scenes. Khalessi's story really has no point for 6 whole seasons. I've never seen a story dragged out so much in any show ever. She should've set sail 3 yrs ago.

I started the re watch last night. It is definitely great to watch again just for the foreshadowing.

One small example... In a particularly awkward scene, after Viserys undresses a very uncomfortable Dany, the dragon queen proceeds to step stoicly into a bath that her servant says is too hot.

Me and the fiancé are doing a rewatch as well. Our plan is to watch one episode every Sunday night leading up to next season. We'll have to double up a few nights whenever they announce when the season premier is.

Season 1 is perfection. The dialogue is so sharp, there are no scenes that feel wasted. Everything seems to have a payoff. Cat Stark is still a complete asshat.

I'm halfway through Season 3.

It's pretty tragic watching Robb make mistake after mistake. Starting with marrying Talia and then chopping Karstark's head off forcing him to the Frey's.

I just finshed Kissed by Fire where you have "you know nothing Jon Snow" and the scene with Ygritte in the cave

and the trial by combat with Beric and the flaming sword and the Hound. Awesome scene.

You also have Dany finally taking the unsullied and that scene where she reveals her native tongue is valaryian and drogon roasts the master and she frees them all and grey worm is introduced.

Awesome episode.

This show has surpassed LOST for me as the GOAT.

so I'm on season 2 episode 3, and when tyrion is talking about giving myrcella to Dorne he says that she will marry the youngest Martell boy. So basically D&D just scrapped Quentyn later?

Just watched the pilot (and so my rewatch begins).

So much shite was established in this episode that we didn't get answers to until this season .

Also noticed that the fur around Ned's neck is the same fur Sansa made for Jon in S6 and that every person Robert touched has died (and why was Hodor in the first row still boggles my brain lol). Oh and the crypts scene with Ned and Robert talking about Lyanna really connects to S6 well.

I thought Robert touched Bran and told him that he would "be a soldier"?

Wonder if that means that Bran, Arya, Sansa, and Jon are safe till the end.
