It says he was an All-American. Don't you think someone would have given him a chance seeing as he was so fast?

Didn't have time for all that. In the book he was also an astronaut and a wrestler named The Dunce.

In the 60's, it wouldn't have been a good career move. Only Joe Namath had the huge contract, and that was 1969. That's why Tommy Casanova only played three years and retired after getting his medical degree.

I heard the nfl wouldn't let him mow the fields other teams thought he would be cutting the grass at a certain height giving him an advantage.

True.Didn't he play with Snake.It's been quite awhile since I've read it.

Have you read Forrest Gump also? Pretty different than the movie.

He was a Physics Savant.NASA sent him up with a Lesbian Astronaut and an orangatane(sp) named Sue.
