Lana alounda Atouk
Way too many movie that really aren't forgotten.
Here are some I don't see discussed on the board:
Ladyhawke - Really nice story with an odd modern soundtrack in a fantasy movie.
The King of Comedy - Heck not a lot of folks saw it when it came out so I doubt many of the younger generation have seen it.
Something Wicked This Way Come - Nice Bradbury adaptation.
Last Dragon - Who is the Master? The folks who mentioned this one are correct.
House - One of my favorite horror / comedy movies of the 80s.
The Name of the Rose - Nice whodunnit mystery. Sean Connery as a monk detective.
Blowout - I really enjoyed this Travolta thriller from Brian De Palma. Nancy Allen was hot.
Time After Time - Great casting with McDowell and Warner.
Man, we talk about a lot of 80s movies. I've looked at about 10 lists and 300 movies and I really don't see many decent movies we've never discussed.

You should have enjoyed "Dressed To Kill," too. Nancy Allen in lingerie. There was also "Body Double," with a very hot Melanie Griffith. De Palma loved making erotic thrillers.
I don't know how "forgotten" these are, but...
Diner
Night Shift
Critters
Motel Hell

But, that movie is just a little too porny for me to have included it so I dropped Blowout in there.

Someone mentioned The Gate. I'd like to rewatch it today.
What's the movie about the French class taking a field trip to France and one of the students being mistaken for a secret agent?

Yes!
Was that even 80’s or was it early 90’s.
Just checked. Says ‘91. I’m still leaving it.

I recall Mongoose, Redline, GT, Diamondback
Thanks for adding those ... I was losin' it trying to remember. Seems like there's still one missing. For some reason ... "Predator" comes to mind.
Oh well ... us poors still had Huffy and Schwinn.
I had a Redline at some point ... some bastard stole it.... North Lafayette ... go figure.
Regarding the movies....well, it's not forgotten ... but, riding back from vacation yesterday ... sat in the back of the van with my kids and we watched The Goonies. They love it ... maybe not as much as I do, LOL.
Some solid ones listed in this thread.
A lot of the forgotten ones ... are just as good, if not better ... than those that have had staying power.
I fricking guarantee that if I put "Rad" on TV at my house tonight ... my sons would watch it and like it.
Didn't see any mention of "Breakin'"
And ... if we're gonna rightfully mention "Rad" ... then have to mention "THRASHIN'" as well ... which was actually on TV the other day, and I watched it.
