I watched so much forensic files, Firt 48, crime 360, dateline, 40/40 , etc for a lifetime
So what's the attraction? Why do we get hooked on these shows?

I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode. Out of curiosity, I did research on a few episodes to see how accurate the show is and it was dead on the facts of the cases I reviewed. You can even pull up the appeals some of the murderers have filed and there is a complete narrative of the facts...they match up with the show.

The best one is Unusual Suspects. They do a good job of making you think it is someone but then they end up getting cleared. Then finally at ten minutes left they reveal who it actually was.

Some nights I fall asleep with it on and wake up in the middle of the night to Nancy Grace.

It's become an addiction for me. Have seen just about all of them, so I've also worked in First 48 & some of the similar ones on ID network.

I usually turn it on every night.

I also would like to see some new episodes but doubt it will happen.

I used to watch this all the time about a decade or so ago

When I was 15 there was an episode that scared the shite out of me, it was a series about teenage killers and how these kids my age(at the time) killed people. Haunted me for a while

Problem is that most episodes are the same

It usually involves a husband killing his wife with the motive being cashing out on the life insurance policy
