Exactly. I don't see how some of y'all are hatin on him. I didn't really like him until I started watching Hard Knocks. Seems like a great coach, and a guy I'd wanna play for.

I'm sure Dungy's a great guy, but I'm tired of his whole saintly whininess.

I don't really care for Rex, seems like a cool guy to have a few beers with, but I would get aggravated to hell being around him all the time.

Dungy is being a little too self righteous though, if you don't like the show, don't watch it.

Haven't watched tonights, but I haven't noticed the slightest bit of change.

BTW, Jets still the most overrated team heading into this season....

You might be right, but they also look like they have themselves a pretty decent football team. Regardless, I'm excited to see how it all pans out.

Oh they won't be shitty at all.

I don't think they are legit SB contenders though.

Best pickup of the year was drafting Kyle Wilson.

Losing Revis is HUGE. Cromartie is overrated.

Lost a very good RB and replaced him with an aging vet.

I just don't see how they really improved their roster and they were around .500 last year before two teams laid down for them and they snuck into the playoffs.

It was his mom that called him and told him to tone it down. He could give a damn what Dungy thinks probably. And he still unloaded the f-bomb payload in that motivational speech so what is everyone bitching about?

Cowboys are the most over-rated team going into the season. Im excited to see how this Jets team does this season. I like this Hardknocks idea.

This. It sounds like he's trying just a little too hard to be Mr. Hardass in front of the cameras.

lulz if you believe that. Jones' production was because of that line, Ron Dayne, Shaun Alexander, and any other RB from the 2000 Draft would've had 1000 behind the Jets line. He's is gonna drop significantly with the Chiefs. Around 500 yards, a 3.4 YPC, and less than 5 TDs.

And LT isn't replacing TJ, Greene is replacing TJ. It's funny how many people get that wrong...

This.

He is as immature as his clue-less squad. Rex Ryan is more of a cheerleader instead of a leader.

You can't be an authority figure when you are "dude"-ing guys & talking smack about big hits & big runs instead of getting on their asses about protecting the ball.

This team has no leadership from either the coaches or the locker room. They are too immature & arrogant to accept you can't win without it.

I had heard Rex Ryan's mother asked him to cool it with the f-word. i suspect her request carried more weight with Rex than Dungy's criticism.

I respect him because defends his guys. Not every coach seems like they have their players' back like he does. I'd play for him.

I think the jets biggest problem going into this year is leadership from the qb position. its just seems to me that the players dont have much faith in sanchez, and sanchez seems to act like a little kid instead of a leader of men.
