Finale of Justified.

Man, what a good finale. Ever so often I go back and watch the showdown with Boone and then the final scene with Boyd. It just doesn't get any better than those two scenes. In the showdown I love how Raylan goes from confident to right before the draw you see in his face he is not sure how it's going to shake out. Then the scene with Boyd is as good as it gets for final dialogue in a series. Just perfect!

It's difficult to wrap up an awesome show, but Justified did a damn good job IMO. I totally was expecting things to go down differently, but TBH the ending they went with was much more satisfying...I like how they wrapped certain things up, but at the same time showed us the world keeps turning...

I felt like Ty Walker and Boone should have both had their own seasons.
Ty Walker could have been the big bad instead of Michael Rappoport in season 5.

I would think you are probably in the minority. Out of all the finale's people bitch about, Justified has seemed to get universal praise.

Justified is going to be that show everyone fondly remembers 15 years from now.

ditto. fully expected raylan or boyd to "never get out of harlan alive" so was initially disappointed but i liked it more and more each time i watched it.

That guy is always fantastic in everything he does. I'm surprised he hasn't got a big budget TV series yet.

Definitely a bit much. My only issue with the finale is that they would have played YNLHA as Raylan and Boyd were talking.

It's an all time great finale in my opinion. Boyd and Raylan chose different lives but walked the line together. I told my buddy the other day Justified will probably go the way of The Wire. A much more popular show several years after it's been off the air.
